About the caliphate, I am glad to see what I thought and imagined turning out to be! Now instead of the caliphate, "we" will get something else - just as "we" are not "getting democracy". Definitely.
I am getting more entrenched as I see these things unraveling before my eyes.

You can thank Mr Hussein Obama for causing the Arab spring!
Instead of Democracy he gets the return of the Caliphate! 
He should've known those dictators and tyrants were keeping the Caliphate dreams at bay!
Obama has led the US walkout from a war weary US leading to a growth of the threat but he definately isn't the genesis of the problem.
The real problem is President Bush and Blair who launched an invasion on Iraq on the false pretext that Saddam Hussein was a terrorist in whose hands were WMDs. They toppled him and now, after the US occupation and withdrawl, ISIS ironically do present the real terror threat after US forces went to eliminate.
Complete failure in geo-strategy.

ISIS literally means throne where the pharaoh i.e. Horus(the son of ISIS) a god of war sits on.The Dajjal is one-eyed like Horus and is supposed to appear somewhere between Iraq and Syria spreading mischief.So ISIS may signal the return of the Khilafah but not preparing the way for the Dajjal?

- U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met Iraq's prime minister in Baghdad today Monday 23rd June 2014 to push for a more inclusive government, even as Baghdad's forces abandoned the border with Jordan, leaving the entire Western frontier outside government control.
- Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei strongly opposes possible US intervention in Iraq, the official IRNA news agency reported. Iraqis are capable of ending the violence in their country themselves, Khamenei said Sunday, adding that the conflict in the neighboring country was not a sectarian one. Iran’s spiritual leader believes that Washington plans to keep Iraq under control by placing American protégés in power, and while some Iraqis want real independence for the country, others don’t mind remaining a US protectorate.
- ISIS militants killed 21 regional leaders on Saturday. Several were shot to death immediately as the militants seized the towns of Rawa and Ana, with the remaining unspecified number being slaughtered on Sunday.
- These militants have also seized two border crossings – one with Jordan and one with Syria, Iraqi officials told AFP
