The whole game is disturbing especially when poor folks are turned against each other and business suffers.
Of late I have been trying to decipher what Raila wants out of all this. Guilty or innocent, his name is already soiled, his image tattered and his legacy is beginning to stink with Kenyans even more polarized. From where Im seated, I interact with so many internationals who keep asking why there is tension in Kenya bla bla bla.....and whether it is safe to go there. I get thoroughly embarassed, but still put a bold face and stand by my motherland. I encourage them to visit.
While many supported the so called dialogue including myself, the arrogance, threats, insults to the Head of state and his Deputy, ultimatums, incitement and hate speech that followed were shocking to say the least. Jubilee will not accept such an engagement in such circumstances, naturally.
Anyway, I wish him well in his curious endeavors.
