Africa is the worst performing Confederation so far.

Here is what I would summarize

Ghana: Excellent ball control good midfield but they simply cannot finish
Nigeria: Low calibre players, zero tactics
Cameroon : Everything is wrong with them
Algeria: They don't have any quality players even though many are French imports. But they really try
CIV: OK. They may be Africa's only hope.

The coaches in charge of the african teams are football dimwits, and the players lack football intelligence.

Africa should be given only two slots. The other three should be allocated to other confederations. Would prefer to watch Denmark, Sweden, Ukraine and Israel than gazing at Bennoit Akotto 's bad hair and even worse atitude.

Applause Applause
Kwanza Nigerians... squad is full of wingers who just run and run. They need bigger pitches. When they run with the ball they run out the field...nkt.

We are our own worst enemies. In Kenya for example , delegates knew about Nyamweya's record of corruption but they voted him anyway because he bribes them constantly. Do you know that FIFA sends Kenya $250,000 every year for development ? Where do you think that money goes.

Cameroon are not much different. The players went on strike because the federation was trying to eat their bonus money. So Cameroon did not train for a week. All this while other teams were busy sharpening their tactics.

Hear hear! Even Sweden with Zlatan would have been more fun to watch that useless Nigeria. Planless, clueless.

to borrow from Masukuma, Nywele Ngumu very ----- It's like a curse Sad even their own couch is cursing them.

Will Africa ever win world cup in my lifetime?? Sad

maybe the wrong forum but there is nothing really wrong with nywele ngumus except that they have a complex that sees themselves as being superior to other nywele ngumuz not knowing that failure of any nywele ngumu is 'seen' as their failure! They worship non nywele ngumu deities and follow non nywele ngumu prophets/messengers. due to this complex 'teamwork' is difficult to come across. They are also the only race I know that hates their hair!! The males shave it off religiously and females cover it with Weaves or burn it with hot irons or chemicals to make it 'straight'.

women of other races also do all manner of stuff to their hair. women all over tend to be mostly 'creative' with their hair. oh - and even white women wear weaves.

The match between Netherlands and Chile should be a cracker to decide who tops the group and avoids Brazil? Question is, would you prefer to meet Brazil or Mexico at this stage? Unfortunately Brazil may field referinho but based on yesterday's game I think Chile can beat Brazil.

Cameroon a disgrace to African football and as @Alma has reckoned, they should be banned for that display. Croati vs Mexico will also be a thriller.

I'm still debating which was harder to execute between the first goal by RvP against Spain and that sumptuous volley by Cahill which was reminiscent of a similar volley by RvP against Norwich...truly excellence of execution!

As for Spain...

Now to the small matter of England vs Uruguay. With a not fully fit Suarez and their captain out through injury, I have a feeling England will nick it. That said, it will be poetic justice for Suarez single handedly preventing an African team reaching the semis, pun intended....Gyan's penalty miss notwithstanding.

Colombia vs Ivory Coast should be thriller as well...

Add Maximilliano parreira who saw red. Replacement may not match him.

Assou Ekotto is a bum. I have never rated him anyway. I wish he played for France instead of choosing Cameroon. I cant believe this guy has played in the EPL. At the last world cup when Denmark beat Cameroun, he was at fault for both goals. Then today he headbutts a team-mate. What a clown.

The rest of Cameroon are a disgrace too, running like headless chickens. Everbody for himself. Zero teamwork. Shooting the ball over the bar as if they were trying to launch geo-stationary satellites......

Disgrace!
The likes of Nkono, Biyik brothers, Nkono, Miller, Lauren.....even PIUS NDIEFI must be hanging their heads from the embarrassment caused by these m***ns!

I have bet today that England will go home. Hopefully I recoup yesterday's loses.

That is a gamble, it can go either way. In as much as i would want England to go home, Uruguay of 2014 is not that hot!
