Hi all,

the latest political intrigues and manouvres in ODM between RAO and Ruto has gotten me thinking really hard over the stances being taken by the duo...as RAO faces north Ruto faces south and vise versa...the two have not agreed on anything so far for the last couple of months as each is busy out there with their mouths wide open and frothy claiming superiority!!!

the question is who owes the other for their current political spaces that they are occupying????

@ Kaigangio,

...they met in parliament, became bedmates but Raila wanted to screw Ruto more times than Ruto would do it. Nobody owes allegiance to any other. Ruto owes allegiance to Moi but not RAO. So Rao potelea mbali...

Agree with you. It's a game of convinience.

@All

In the last elections Raila benefitted more from Ruto than vice versa.

If, or is it when they go their seperate ways, Ruto is not likely to lose as much as Raila will.

Infact, assuming that Ocampo doesnt take any of them away, in the next Govt Ruto is likely to maintain what he has - cabinet position, but Raila is likely to settle for less than he already has, - in business speak that is a loss.

Comrades in crime is what they are.
Each would want the other not to mention their role in the PEV.
They both precipitated, fueled and condoned PEV.

@ B. Timer,
you are very right!

it is actually Rutos tuffs that brought RAO to his status and it is Rutos presence in ODM that earned him (Ruto) his post...

logically speaking Ruto owes RAO nothing, but RAO owes everything to Ruto...this partly explains why Ruto is acting like a juvenile who has just found his fathers guns and RAO won't do a damn thing...

@ mcreggae and @ general this is not a hate as you would brand it but an observation..

@Ngalaka

I couldn't agree with you more!!! To me these are partners in crime who have parted ways after... I hope Ocampo will pick someone who will in turn choose not to die alone and spills the beans on how the PEV thing was planned and executed.

RAO indicated that he would support someone else for 2012. We wait to see if he will fulfill that.

Yep its all about pev. RAO is ready to sacrifice to hague Ruto or at least cut him lose. Ruto on the other hand finds consolation in people facing similar predicament like UK. He has strongly hinted that he will not go down alone. His parrots are busy singing RAO didnt win.
Life is short. Live passionately.
