Cattle rustling is usually big business huko...ebu multiply those animals stolen by lets say a KES1000 per animal. A certain politician is now sorted for the next near future, plus senior policemen plus the local administrators.

5000 cattle * 1000= 5,000,000
3000 donkeys*1000= 3,000,000
900 camels * 1000= 900,000

This is for illustration purposes. Of course animals go for more. Plus the cultural issues of heroism if you steal animals from a different community.

Buda boss, Cattle rustling is not for pett thiefs, this is an organised crime. The rustlers are more often well equipped than the policemen and 70% of the meat you eat in Nairobi has been supplied by cattle rustlers
If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

Oh my. Guys, unless Babu/Baba is your Baba for real or Uhuru/Kamwana is your brother, let's take a chill pill.

Just so you know, as you throw rocKs here in readiness for Saba na Nane Nane, Raila Jr is sharing selfies from Copacabana.

Let us bridge our divide here same as Muhoho from the safety of Nairobi's leafy suburbs.

I think these are no longer cattle rustlers but cattle hustlers.

Are these the type of hustling @wailer meant?

Sometime back there was an article in one of the dailies stating that rustling today is big business and nothing to do with culture. It even mentioned that big names in politics are involved. Like MC ask, kweli such huge number of animals can move without being detected.d'oh! d'oh!
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.... Leo Buscaglia

May be a new style of governance/administration is needed..Dos'/DCs' used to dread Mo1's phone call..which was under the now defunct KPTLco. infrastucture, then shit would be escalated to Chiefs and sub-chiefs...but now...May be State house needs to come up with an alternative. like some type of skype conferencing.kila jioni...so that the guy who farted out last night can be known..mwenye aliiba mbuzi ya jirani jana anajulikana being in control..so far am seeing managing without measurement..i keenly followed the recent police vetting on TV ..one of the questions asked to the bosses, was how the bosses would leverage modern technology to avert crime and cattle rustling ..Chief Kariuki's twitter would have been answer ..used of unmanned UAV's aka drones the only guy who impressed me was King'ori he seemed to know policing
