Why the over emphasis?

Yesterday’s ‘statement from baab’ claimed the attackers had completed their mission and were now safely back in Somalia. Why did the attacks continue yesterday night if ‘baab were already back in somalia?

I think these are questions you ask ole lenku since he spent the night there.

Lenku slept in some posh 5 star hotel, he didnt see anything that happened last night.

Someone will one day explain to me how you fire an OCS, County Commander et al for not stopping 50 bazooka terrorists. Then leave the fellows who have admitted that

1. They had intelligence before hand
2. Did not respond on the said day
3. Were actually sleeping in the same area when another 15 people were killed.

You know, sometimes in life its a good thing to notice that your car tyre is flat. So that you can fix it.

Tired of statements that go around in circles.

All we want is those responsible in court. Not long stories.

All the world intelligence services say it was Al Shabab, even the victims. Even Al-shabab. But ooohhhhh no, we know who did it and we are drawing the biggest red line yet.

Politics and security don't work well together. I'm hugely disappointed.

The residents are actually in support of what the President said and who says we have to believe Al Shabaab.....hata Al Qaeda are known to have assumed false responsibility in the past. Anyway I agree with you that we need to stop this blame game and focus on what's important.

Me thinks the Rais is anikaing his ribs for rebuttals. If he says intel was shared and some people in the security hierachy ignored it, it can only mean the afande no longer have a functional hierarchy and that means the top 4 ought to be home earliest. If you have intel people will be in trouble you are bound to maintain presence of some sort in that locality and therefore response / back up would have been available in less than 2hrs. Why did it take 5hrs for back up? Did intel accept shit will go down and move on.

Alternative school of thought would suggest if intel knew attacks were coming and did not emphasize it to Rais then the probably they should be telling us more. What I find absurd is Rais defending intel who for the umpteenth time share intel before the heinous acts and no pre - emptive something is done and we don't see IGP handing over....pamba is being put on our eyes. Me I know something is on here...It cannot be they shared intel on Westgate, Gikomba, Thika Road, Pangani police station et al and nothing happened. Rais let's have some heads going home or I personally will cease to believe what you are telling us and request you hire better spinners.

I think that the only way to prevent Kenya from burning under tribalism is for the Shabaab to also unleash havoc to a CORD stronghold! Sad

Majority of Kenyans want KDF out of Somalia.. Even some of UMK's own fans have no clue what KDF is achieving!

RAO is being a good leader and listening to the voice of the majority!

UMK and crew are trying to bury their heads deeper in the sand sadly!

we should actually not care how we look to other people.... we need to ask ourselves
1. have the objectives that took us to Somalia been met?
2. if not - are those objectives still valid?
3. what is our exit plan?

From HSMPress -->> It'd be interesting to see Ole Lenku's response when #Mpeketoni kidnap victims are publicly paraded in Barawe, #Somalia.

#Breaking: senior #Alshabaab official tells me up to 20 hostages taken from the #MpeketoniAttack have arrived inside #Somalia."

I have a tweeter screenshot as proof but posting pictures on this site is a pain.
