States burn and rise again. If guys want to burn, do you think you can stop them? And why are you pretending the country became polarized yesterday? Kenyans have been divided and badly polarized since 2005, with very few changes.

If Kenya burns now there is no coming back as before....

Many people will be convinced it will never possible to unify this country..

The North Easterners have been wondering for a long time whether they are part of Kenya and Al Shabaab WILL take advantage should your warlords take us on the perilous path!

This country was lost long ago my friend. Stop pretending, we are not one, with all the divisive politics and warlord politicians being glorified even in Wazua. If this state survives 30 years, I will be one surprised Guka/spirit!

Sometimes I tend to think, those states which underwent violent errors in the 70's and 80's are lucky, they have risen with a tough lesson to boot, we are headed into their inglorious past.

We've been yapping that Kenya is a sovereign state yet it's now clear Kenya is not incharge of its internal security. Where is the sovereignity? then Yesterday we were informed a high powered security team was at Mpeketoni. Another attack happening in the eyes of the IG and CS? Hiyo ni madharau !madharau!na madharau!

I feel I should now change my mind on the trio of Lenku, Gichangi and Kimaiyo

Let them be replaced. If only to restore public confidence in the security forces!

Blame the Katiba,
While I would love to see all of them sacked,
Some have 'independent offices' and security of tenor, while the country is so polarised, such that sacking anyone for non performance is seen as their community purging.
I dare say, bring the old Katiba back, democracy does not belong to the dead.

And by the way IG Kimaiyo is 'independent', how does UK come in here while he has minimal control over police.
Blame the new constitution and do something about it.

kutoa kimaiyo ni ngumu, we just wait for his ternure to kwisha, the cs for internal security also seems like a policy office not much powers when it comes to the command structure of the disciplined forces.
hata declaring a state of emergency is still shrouded in some parliamentary beurecracies - haya tuvumilie tu.
