And why are you people still opposed to use of army? The police are either overwhelmed or have failed. If the use of the army have been opposed since that will mean the police have failed, well I think we are past that. Pour the damn army and save lives.Sad Sad

agreed. Since alshababa are the main suspects, and they're not civillians, give them jeshi

My first post about this matter.

The army needs, then, to be brought back from Somalia to do this well.

And a wrong one too! Kenya has close to 25,000 military personnel. Only 4K or so are in Somalia. Why not use the rest? This does not need more than 500 of these

So how much stomach do Kenyans really have?? How many nights of sleeping in fear??
How many more dead at the hands of Shabaab??

It looks like UMK is ok with Kenyans dying and some of the country being uninhabitable as long as Somalia gets peace!

Kenya is now a warzone as promised by Shabaab! Sad

Shabaab must support CORD because of RAOs stand of KDF in Somalia!

John Michuki(RIP) when he was Min.of Internal Security, made a proposal to the GoK to close down all borders as a security measure to avoid infiltration of aliens. He said that this would one day catch up with us.No one listened & the proposal is gathering thick dust somewhere.

Now, the dog has grown into a monister add the 7/7 politricks and the situation looks bleek. Govt is clueless on where to start. How i wish we listened!Sad Sad

There are no hopeless situations though, only people who beocme hopeless! Pray Pray Pray

What is needed is better intelligence. If NSIs has not profiled all the weal spots in coast and north eastern, and done simulation on how to respond quickly in case alshabaab attack, then they have failed. I also do not know why we have not heard of any air strikes against their positions in Somalia since yesterday. NSIs either not advising Pork or their advise not being implemented!

We've been yapping that Kenya is a sovereign state yet it's now clear Kenya is not incharge of its internal security. Where is the sovereignity? then Yesterday we were informed a high powered security team was at Mpeketoni. Another attack happening in the eyes of the IG and CS? Hiyo ni madharau !madharau!na madharau!

And who needs so take this decision? Ooh, its Raila!!! Someone put the guy under house arrest and the problem will go away pap!!

I mourn for Kenya. I mourn for the sheep who are slaughtered while the Sheppard is busy checking his red lines. Pole to our brothers mercilessly slaughtered by a ruthless enemy who seems to know only too well that we will do nothing to return the favour.

How I wish they could at least let us carry guns. That way the enemy will think twice. Oops, I forgot it's Raila doing this to us!!

Raila this, Raila that...

I dare say Raila has made it easy for anyone to suspect him for such

I dare also say Raila has brought to Kenya its second biggest security threat. Why am I even calling it second biggest? It should be the biggest!

For if what they're trying to do succeeds, we could end up like Somalia. At that point, terrorist attacks and robberies will seem like child's play.

And we'll live in camps in Tanzania and UgandaSad...if we survive to escape ke

Yes, we have terrorism which is a major problem, but you do not make a situation better by bringing new big security threats!

I feel I should now change my mind on the trio of Lenku, Gichangi and Kimaiyo

Let them be replaced. If only to restore public confidence in the security forces!

"OLE LENKU says attackers jammed Safaricom network in Mpeketoni before fresh attacks last night, says this is an elaborate war"
