Sasa mnacheka nini ? in 2003 i helped ( facilitated)a certain mzee in paying 15m for a piece land . i asked him how he made it and he told me that by 1993 he had more than 200 mikokoteni in 3 towns . He used to rent them out for about sh20 to 30 daily . Do the math then endelea kucheka

really? and with that explanation you were bought on his source of the 15m? or you were shown corroborating evidence of the claim? coz if you just relied on his words then gullibility would be too soft on you.

smile , utashanga - the cost of running those mkokotenis si kidogo, oil chnage, tire change, changing the axle every now and then due to overloading, body redo due to rotting, paying mungiki, county council askaris, pay for security, pay for parking, replacing stolen metal parts ...
utabaki na less than 5 bob profit per day, if you are lucky at all.

If the question is whether one can excel in life with minimal, or no formal education, then the answer is a definite 'yes'.

And if the argument is passing exams, and extensive formal training implies 'education' then this argument is a lie. Not all exam passing, formally trained people are educated people. Or it could as well be 'miseducation'.

The bottom line is thus shown in work-productivity and problem solving, and human relations.

You try reason with the kid, but he says "sasa 1+1 inanisaidiaje, najua calculus, hii masomo inabore when you're bright kama mimi. Hata teacher hawezi elewa zile stuff mimi najua"

Then you plead with that kid to stay in school and get bored for 8 yrs drinking maziwa ya nyayoSad

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly nyinyi kweli ni nugu kabisa . i asked the mzee how he started not the source of his 15m . I think he left the mikokoteni biz in 93 because by 03 he was already worth a lot more than the 15m he was spending on the land. this was only to show that you might laugh at the mikokoteni biz but it has been the launching pad of someone i know.
