Youths today want to become;

1.Socialites
2.Divas
3.Internet/tv junkies
4.Lighter
5.Thugs

Their Goal in life- Fame.

They want money without putting in hardwork.
No Business/Work sense at all,they live their lives online or wait to be used by the powerful to create disharmony.

There is no such thing as waiting for job opportunities,
Youths need to create their own opportunities and display potential and enthusiasm to do even the least of jobs.
As they do this the opportunities will come along.
A packet of sweets only has a profit of btw sh 60-150.(Nishawahi uza).But ask a young person to hawk sweets uone ATT.
I fear referring/recommending some youths because they can let you down bad style cz of poor work attitude.

You hit it! Kenyan youth are starting to give those of South Sudan a run for their money. Sudd kids-all they aspire when they grow up is pick an AK47 and thats it! Whether in the SPLA or outside.

This remark only shows how many regard youth without understanding.

A good chunk of the problem can be solved by decent roads and electricity in the rural areas, plus reducing tax and giving incentives to tv sellers - and pap hii mambo ya youth kung'ethia kwa 'kambi' itaisha.

lakini priorities are elsewhere, in superhighways and cameras.
