I wonder how natural juice could survive on the shelves for that long...

So let me ask the experts...is this Del Monte and the like natural or ...

They are packed asceptically hence the long shelf life!!!
Do you also doubt UHT milk that stays for more than 6 months!!!!
For your info DelMonte has one of the biggest pineapple farms in Africa, pass by there the next time you visit Thika to see for yourself!!!!

Is this to mean that there are no added preservatives in Del Monte?

As a by-the way, there is this place in Buru called Java Juices where they sell freshly squeezed juice...literally...e.g. If you order mango juice, you will see them making it and you get it there and then...now that's what I call fresh...got friends who drive all the way from Kasarani just to drink the precious stuff....

Delmonte, pick N peel, Ceres, etc... are natural juices but coz of the processes they go through, their nutrition content is said to be 60%. Afia, quencher are chemicals with zero nutrients. Freshly made juice thats less than 4 hours old has 100% nutrients and after 4 hours it starts loosing nutritive value gradually.
Lord, thank you!

Thanks Euge...that is why I say that the best natural juice is the one you squeeze yourself and take it there and then...and that's why the Java Juices at Tuskys Buru has great stuff...

Why not take the real fruit and get the fibres as extra.....by taking juices you are taking a very concentrated concotion and this is a no go zone for diabetics...... eat the fruit and some fresh water which will go towards your daily count of the eight glasses!
