Beginning Feb this year, to watch beIN sports, you have to acquire their own proprietary decoder (Humax 1000S) to which their card is now 'married'. Their was a small window provided for users with other humax decoders to register (e.g. Humax HD Free and Humax IR3000 HD) so as to continue using. I think the deadline for this is yet to elapse as can be seen here.If you check here, at the bottom of the page, you can view the package cost by country. Keep in mind that, officially, beIN is intended only for the Middle East and North Africa. Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

EPL is available under beIN Sports package, see link above. They have their own proprietary decoder, Humax 1000S. ADMC is a different package offered by a different broadcaster who also have their own decoder, I think a Humax IR3000. Check them out here: ADMC packages and pricing.ADMC FAQs.In both these cases, the decoder and card are 'married'. Yes, it's the new one on their website whose top part is purple-blue in color as can be seen here: beIN Sports decoderAt the time they went secure mode, they had offered a chance to those who had Humax IR3030 HD and Humax HD Free to register them. I think the option is still there in their website. Humax HD FreeHumax IR3000 HD.This is satellite tv so a satellite dish is compulsory to access the transmissions. Depending on your location, a 90cm dish may suffice but in order to weather-proof your signal, aim for a minimum of 120-130cm offset or 180cm primefocus dish. Enyewe, hats off to Rankaz. Can see pia huko Jamii forum unawika. Shukran bro. Most welcome. My interest in FTA satellite stuff was piqued when I worked in a remote part of coast province in the early years of the last decade. Whenever I saw those satellite dishes on the rooftops, I'd always wonder how rich those guys were to be able to afford dstv subs. macho yalifunguka the day I found out it was not dstv but fta sat tv. I then set out acquiring as much knowledge as I could on the same and now, I freely share that info that I've accumulated over time. Those shops are a dime a dozen on Luthuli, simply do some window shopping to get the fairest pricing. Installation costs depend on your location and complexity of your set-up. I.e the go tv decoder is used to process signals transmitted by transmitters on the ground (hence the T=terrestrial in DVB-T2), almost similar to analogue transmissions. Signet broadcasts in this manner. For DVB-S2 reception, decoders able to process signals transmitted via satellite are needed (in DVB-S2, S=satellite) Live and learn; and don’t forget, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
