@jagernaut, ..ok..be the first one then you come tell us here in wazua how it panned out.
Kenya high land is being well utilised as a school.
DoD land is being well utilised as a security installation.
Kevevapi land was bare grassland without any from of utilization prior to the developments.
Land that should be alienated the same way is the veterinary lands near kangemi/loresho, betwen shade hotel karen to ngon town etc, which are bare grasslands without any form of utilization.
What should happen now is
1.create laws that help kenyans define unutilised idle public lands.
this will prevent @jagernaut from salivating at every prime piece of govt land he sees.
2. create laws to define how such lands can be allocated fairly to the public.
this will prevent @jagernaut from unfairly gaining from such lands thru bribery etc.
We can also agree that as kenyans, its impossible to create laws that people will follow and stop any further alienation of public land and maybe say that such lands can only be utilised for social functions eg schools, hospitals, prisons etc.
If the above 2 issues are not tackled, due to the high demand for land , soon, we will see a rogue NLC issue the govt lands to desperate kenyans and the story continues. Every new govt comes in and extorts the buyers ad infinitum.
