Its good you've let wazuans know that you watch TV. Actually i've NEVER watched any CSI program, even the over hyped 24 never did it for me.

You can eavesdrop enmasse. You cannot eavesdrop or record everybody. Thats the difference between my kadegree and whatever it is you studied for undergrad , it enables me to see through tech hype.
To draw you an analogy, if someone told you if you give him 10 million to invest, he will give you a return of 250 million in 90 days after investing in a transparent, completely legal business, you would be skeptical.
If you want to insist, start naming specific technologies that can do this and how they do it (record everybody) and I will explain how they might not necessarily accomplish it. No generalities. To task! The ball is in your court.
