Check what I typed earlier!!!!!

Quote:
Mutahi Ngunyi says Al Shabaab are using the local militia to carry out the attacks, he continues to say that the local militia is connected at the hip with our police, so much can be sadi about our police.....don't you see hii ni chida kubwa sana!!!!

Is it that guys are just naive or are Kenyans just so political in their thinking??

What happened to the police report that said Al Shabaab has local cells and your son could be a recruit??

What happened to all those eloquent Kiswahili speakers in the terror videos??

CORD couldn't sneak in one grenade to this country even if they tried! I wonder who in CORD knows how to assemble an IED! smile

They are more "nywele ngumus" in Al Shabaab today than you could ever imagine thats why y'all are here blaming CORD Sad

.......Gok should deal with sympathisers, harbouring and supporting terrorists

......only a super idiot would smile to see tourists leaving Kenya, most terrorists are only idiots

....the area chief, landlord, agent, caretaker, driver etc.. should explain ,aliens should also reveal their accomplices(immigration),brokers etc who helped them get there .
...and finally, aliens should not just be repatriated, send them to jail(kodiaga) with hard labour minimum 1 yr,let the relatives scream hoarse

My two cents:

Todate, the story behind Westgate attack has never been told, we have no lessons to learn from this sad event. Why is the PORK so beholden by vested interests and power barons that he cannot get to the bottom of the debacle? IMHO, once we have a thorough and honest revelation on Westgate, then half of the problem will be solved.

Below is a raft of measures that PORK could take towards securing Ke.

1. Fire Ole Cook and Co. bring in Gen. Hussein Ali or a similarly experienced and qualified serving or ex-general
2. Review the weaknesses in law curtailing the powers of the NIS and the prerogative of the PORK to appoint IGP.
3. Enhance operational effectiveness of the NPS basics, basics even at the NIS.
4. End the usalama watch gimmicks and co-opt perceived "terrorists" in the name of Somalis. Scorched earth policy never works in countering terrorism.
5. Find and eliminate financiers, spiritual leaders, bomb makers, operatives by any means necessary. This can be done since the spies know the operatives e.g using telephone link charts, humintel.
6. Strategic reorganization of the security sector architecture plus revengineering security to make it more intel and technologically driven and restructuring and rethinking security along "Broken Window" model.
7. Finally arrest police abstinence.

Until the real problem is sorted, nothing will ever happen. And the real problem is this one:

I have not come across any reported link to the terrorist activities happening and al shab...
I could be wrong since I am only depending on the media outlets for info, and the few arrests made do not point to any known terrorist grouping.

the point is that we need to distinguish between criminal activities and terrorist related activities, this will enable the security forces to deal with the same in a sober way - otherwise the moment we label all of them as terrorist activities then the fight moves to a totally new level.

call it whatever you want, naivety or political - but chasing al-shab... around heaping blame on them will not solve the problem.
