An Offence under which section of the traffic Act?

The offense has always been in the traffic act over the years.
I think it was the NARC parliament that paused it but did not repeal it.

I may be wrong but i think the law applies to public vehicles only (Where are Wazuan lawyers?)......On another note,i wish somebody takes off our road vehicles with multi-coloured lights all round.Just the other night,i almost rammed into an oncoming lorry. At first i thought i was heading into a building!!Sad

you are right. the law only applies to public vehicles. while it's a good directive for security reasons, the law needs to be amended first. I see someone heading to court tomorrow.

Just got it. Who is this Kimaiyo directing the arrogant traffic boys???

The law is clear that it applies to Public Service Vehicles!!! Nevertheless, if you have a reflective coating on your windscreen(esp. on the upper side) you should remove as they will charge you with obstructing other road users.

Quote:
54A.
Tinted motor vehicle windows
(1)

A person shall not drive or operate a public service vehicle that is fitted with tinted windows or tinted windscreen.
(2)

For the purposes of this rule, “tinted” means shaded, coloured or treated in a similar manner so that the persons or objects inside are not ordinarily seen clearly from outside.

Now I know they want Baba in Makueni. Remove tint so that the marksman does not hit a bill-board like in the Kula-Tokyo guy saga.

You can say Oburu had taken countryman lakini I smell a very fat rat.

They can fight for the privilege of flying the flag and tinted windows at the same time

Q: where does Kimaiyo plan to keep all these detained vehicles cos such cars are many, hata kama ni kuweka yard by county or jiji?
Q: security and safety of detained cars guaranteed?
