At current prices safaricom should be doing atleast 40Billion in net profit..
It p/e at current prices is above 20 which makes it one of the most expensive stocks in the market

40b profit would give it an earning per share of a bob,profit which they cant attain any time soon,now they are paying over 18b almost all profit as dividend.my soft feeling is that the next reporting is highly likely to be a profit decline.

If this elephant is to test 20/- it must take out 15/- For now the steam is off, but any M&A deal should get the steam back as well as rosy H1 results later in Nov 2014.

Innovation is key here, how will safcom keep you spending your money though them, thats all. I can see where they are going next with all this fiber layout. The future can only be bright.
