I always like reading books and they have been very helpful to me. The reason I think that books are important is because the authors have spent years doing extensive research on the field and have gathered a lot of information and knowledge.

Always look for bestsellers in your field and read them trust me, books will change your life.
Here are some of the books about wealth that I would recommend.

The Automatic Millionaire- by David Bach

Think and Grow Rich- by Napoleon Hill (Mentored by Andrew Carnegie- the steel tycoon, once the worlds' richest man)

The Millionaire Next Door- by Thomas J. Stanley, William D. Danko

If you have any other books you would like to suggest reply please.

Don't be in a hurry to show him the door. First make the most of him(your employer). Trust me there is a lot one learns while in employment and not just contacts or experience. Think about soft skills. Things to do with human skills(how you relate with people of different ages and background),communication skills(simple things like writing a memo, letter etc. They'll come in handy when you are on this other side.

rich dad poor dad is helpful especially for the starters. Shows you how to always see things in terms of asset or liability.

In life 48 laws of power, art of war and common sense-by thomas paine are a good read. And of course the bible especially proverbs.

Very true that 'Rich Dad...' is good for starters especialy in early twenties.
Combine the Bible with Robin Sharma's ' The Monk Who Sold A Ferrari' and it will work wonders.

The Bible. I would recommend it for any serious investor, even the non-Christian. Especially the old testament books like Proverbs, Deuteronomy.

For those struggling with saving especially those employed. I'd recommend Richest Man in Babylon. Also those who are fond of eating the seeds and not the fruits (dividends).
