4architect-would it not be easier for all to own the hotel then share profits like every six month or yearly according to one's contribution? Though I like your Idea.

@africancoloner, all are part owners of the hotel by owning a share of a4architect investment ltd, which in turn owns the land. Instead of the profits being shared half yearly, its easier for each owner to select how they want to receive their profit eg monthly, yearly , etc.

@a4, Will all the owners earn equal profits per share or will the profits be determined by how much the particular room an investor owns has been occupied.

@ngapat, all the hotel rooms are the same size. All room owners will earn an equal share regardless of how many times their rooms were used. We are budgeting an occupation rate of 70% per month which is expected to rise to nearly 100% since the land is next to a busy international highway, southern bypass.

I get the feeling Urithi bollowed heavily from this idea of pooling resources in their 'own a room'concept. They have really capitalised on it with their marketing strategy.

I have seen the same idea being fronted by real estate companies developing hotels in Naivasha and also Giraffe Ark in Nyeri has a similar offer
