My perception. Converts are more radical than those born in the religion.

The act deserves strict criticism, and I disagree with anyone who says that the same should be fought in the right manner, there is no right manner in fighting such and I am sure the Americans will give Nigerians the right advice in dealing with such. So according to you, there is only wrong manner? People who claim to have minds never cease to amaze me , I have never claimed to have a mind. My point is, whatever manner they use to get the girls back - If you had young daughters, Imagine a gang of men kidnapping them, holding them captive and selling them off in the marketplace - would you really call for them to be pursued in the right way, these terrorists only know terror and its only terror that can fight them. @nakujua I agree with you there. I'm in record here saying that I support harsh punishment for those who commit such serious crimes that harm individual victims, or threaten to destabilize the foundation of society. But the operation must not be blind or wrongly done (as you advocate) as to harm other innocent people. I hope that clears what I meant by " right manner"?

What!!!!!!
Deeper depths are being fathomed here. My fathometer is breaking.
Ati Khadija, the first convert, showed superior intellectual abilities in managing her businesses due to her orientation as an islamic woman????!!!!!!!
FYI she had established her career before she converted to islam. She was powerful in her own right before the man, and even over the man.
Was she the cougar or was the man the gold digger? That's an irrelevant question but still a question nevertheless.
Who or what granted her the opportunities to flourish to that extent? Who or what granted her the opportunity to mingle with men in the market, the opportunity which the gold digging man capitalized on? The pre-islamic belief that's what and who. Whatever it was, take time to guess which one it was.
Immediately after her death, the man unbottled his suppressed frustrations, sexual tensions and all that and erupted in unbridled misogyny as I had illustrated elsewhere. His followers to this day bow in subservience to his precedent as others take glee in furthering them.

Boko haram is a terrorist group that goes around blowing people up, and on this particular subject have found a new way of terrorizing young girls. As a society we owe our children at least protection, and a group of religious fanatics who see it right to attack young girls deserves no "right manner" however you define your "manner" to be. The Nigerian security forces should be all over the place, collecting intel as to the whereabouts of the innocent kids and get them back, at the same time sending a very serious message that messing with kids is a no no.
