Someone should list to us the achievements of NLC now in its second year in office.

Ngilu may not be have been the best. I like her determination though and her zeal to fight those that block her way. That Ministry needs such a person.

The pictures shown in the registry, depicts a registry in ICU. I support her to clean the mess. I hope she will go a step further and digitize the registry.

@mkwasi and @mpobiz, am afraid you believed an extremely sly politician called ngilu. To those who know her, this cleanup exercise is a just an opportunity to pull off something bigger.

After jubilee won, senior guys in the ministry of health were praying daily that she doesn't go back to the ministry. And I mean literally praying. Impunity does not even begin to describe ngilu.

My stomach hurts from that laughing....

Sad

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly although I over stretched in my opinion. All I wanted to say is someone with a little common sense can head a ministry. No rocket science involved.

Problem with Ngilu is "eating sense" compensates for her lack of common sense. Water ministry ndio aliikaranga kisha akaila mzima

IMO, this lady is trying. Digitization of the land registry is key to ending corruption in that crucial ministry. For years, successive ministries have always pledged, but none was able to deliver. For once, someone is putting a serious attempt in what many men before her were unable to.

Digitization of Lands started under Dorothy Angote and what Ngilu has done is give it a lot more political teeth for political mileage (with Alfie shining in Machakos) unlike Orengo her predecessor.. Kenyans are the beneficiaries.

The major sticking point and test of her leadership is data cleaning which requires resolution of duplicate and fraudulently acquired land for validity and singular reference of the same.

We like duplicating things too much just to create an avenue for 'eating', Angote and Orengo were informed that there is a private company that has already spent millions in digitizing the records at Ardhi and they have ready data, but since it was their time to eat they had to restart it again. Most of the guys who were digitizing the records were infact poached by gava from the said private firm and to them its like they did a better job while at the private firm
