What are Kenya's goals in Somalia and what exactly have KDF soldiers accomplished ?

Do we have an exit strategy or is there no timetable for leaving ?

And for that matter, what can KDF/ AU/UN hope to accomplish in Somalia other than peace-keeping ? Surely you know that insurgents cannot be defeated.

Someone hapo juu said ati they are preventing Al Qaeda from gaining a foothold in Somalia. Hizo ni jokes.

How comes everybody forgets (or atleast ignores) the the attacks in 2001/2/3 in a hotel at the coast (paradise hotel or something)? 12 Kenyans died.

No difference...

Like Tanzania, Kenya will be bombed even when out of Somalia
Like Afghanistan, AlShabaab will remain underground even when KDF overextends their stay

Just like our Shoes are dusty every evening, even after we polish them every morning. What is right must be done, because it is right.

Conclusion
Kenya must unite, defend it's border, not cower to terrorists, stay the course but not plunder Somalia's resources.
Somalia must leave us alone or face the consequences.

what is the point of staying on somalia if your objectives have been met? in the flipside - who told you that if kdf was to leave somalia these people will stop bombing us? another thing - who says that it's somalis from somalia or refugees bombing us? some of those guys are happy to jificha huku kwanza do u know akina Rogo, makaburi e.t.c. are/were not somalis? just "defending" our borders without knowing from what or who you are defending from is ignorance. as i said on other forums borders are imaginary things!!! people come and go as they please unless you are a small country like israel.
