Decent message by Moyes following sacking. He's a stand up guy, just wasn't good enough for the job... http://espnfc.com/news/s...anchester-united?cc=3888BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

I totally agree! The Glazers only care about the financial position of the club, if Moyes had achieved CL qualification he would probably have kept his job.

Even Moyes was hired coz of tribalism, and look at the payout he got: incompetent fellow tribesman in a job he can't handle....sounds familiar? I wonder how many more Scotsmen can be appointed to that job? If it was Kenya, both Fergie and Moyes would be saying they are after our people! Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming

Arsenal interested in Cleverly and Smalling. Manutd warchest is GBP 150M vs Arsenal 's 70M. Enough said. Truth forever on the scaffold Wrong forever on the throne (James Russell Rowell)

Arsenal's main target for defensive midfield is Leverkusen's Lars Bender....cleverly is a target for Everton. Btw there's so much Arsenal can do with 70m (or 100m as quoted elsewhere), its been well documented that they only need two or three quality players not an entire squad like other teams.

John Cross lives in North London and is known to be privy to 'going ons' at the Emirates. I believe this was a deliberate news leak but time will tell. http://www.mirror.co.uk/...-arsenal-manager-3447976Truth forever on the scaffold Wrong forever on the throne (James Russell Rowell)

@Kaka2za....I agree John Cross knows more about Arsenal than either of us but he hasn't said Cleverly is one of our top targets....
"They are also looking for a long term successor to Mikel Arteta and Wenger wants to bring in a powerful player with a physical presence in midfield.Wenger is also keeping tabs on Manchester United’s Tom Cleverley who is a target for Everton this summer"

Juventus' Antonio Conte has emerged as a dark horse in the race to be Man Utd's next manager, representatives from OT have already held talks with him....Diego Simeone is also a top candidate.

All these top contenders for the Utd job will only become clear in the summer.Louis Van Gaal will only be available after Netherlands are knocked out which can be as late as the finals, leaving only a very small window to work with that summer transfer war chest. I think that will be tricky and might not yield the best results, though most players will be pledging their allegiance after the WC. For me he's still the best transitional manager, for at least 2 seasons. I believe Utd want a transitional manager for 2 seasons and then a long term figure for 3 - 5 seasons BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!
