Here we go: a thread for all those poor Arsenal supporters who don't have any trophy to talk about. Your very own thread, just like your very own fake trophy! Enjoy!! The Emirates Cup is a pre-season association football competition, held in Holloway, London. It is hosted by Premier League club Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. The two-day competition was inaugurated in 2007, named after Arsenal's main sponsor Emirates. It has been held every summer since, with the exception of 2012, due to the Summer Olympics being staged in London. The competition follows a point scoring system much like the Amsterdam Tournament, whereby each team plays two matches, with three points awarded for a win, one point for a draw and none for a loss. An additional point is awarded for every goal scored; this was scrapped in 2011, but made a return for the 2013 edition.[1] From 2009, total shots on target throughout the tournament was used as a tiebreaker depending if teams were tied on points, goal difference and goals scored.
The first winners were hosts Arsenal, who are the most successful club in the tournament's history, having lifted the trophy on two other occasions. Hamburger SV won the trophy in 2008, New York Red Bulls won it in 2011. Galatasaray are the current holders of the cup.Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming

Very soon Arsenal will introduce the Trophy-less Trophy-Emirates cup which goes to the Team without any trophy in the last 9 seasons If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

@Kularaha, You really want to generate traffic on Wazua, and what a better way than to talk about Arsenal while you are a CFC fan. FYI Chelsea is a very recent occurrence, as recent as 2005, may be I stretch back to 1997. Do yourself some favour, compare the total trophies Arsenal has with what Chelsea has. Again check the periods that Chelsea didn't win a thing, eg from 1971 upto 1997. Then come we discuss. Chelsea is as recent as Tore andre Flo. Also google that. with chelsea's heroics in the ucl and position in the epl, it's now time for them to think of a bus parking cup.
