The two guys are it again. For me missing the 7oclock episode is like missing it all since I find John's presentation a mere translation of Ali's work. John won the CNN award but I still believe the prize should have gone to Ali. Maybe CNN hawasikii Swahili. Btwn the two, whom will u go for. Based on presentation skills an entertainment value,I go for Kijana Mpekuzi,Mohamed Ali. And you?

No one should read this, sorry if you have read it already, you can unread it...

The reason why Namu took the CNN award had nothing to do with Jicho Pevu.

...I guess it all has to do with how wide the story can be understood. Plus CNN usually asks jourmalist to submit stories around this time. If Ali did not submit, how would you expect him to win. Secondly because they do the stories together, they should have entered as a duo unless Allan entered a different story...

John Alan won the CNN journalist of the year award by submitting the stories In the shadow of the Mungiki’ and ‘Inside Story: Scars and Sufurias’, which were chosen from among 1665 entries from 38 nations across the African continent. These stories had noting to do with the Jicho Pevu investigations they do with Mohammed Ali.

Jicho pevu is well presented than arap Namu stories.
While the two boys may be complimenting one another, they way the story is presented matters.Shame on you

Well it is difficult to compare te two in that they do different programs with the same information. Use of language here really counts otherwise Kudos to both of them i know them personally and remain proud of their work which i now call journalistic activism.Sad smile
