It does not matter what he does, an African leader can always count on support from his own people. Uhuru and Baba will always have their home base come what may.

I don't know whether that is a good or bad thing but that is just how it is.

Now consider this. In Britain the Prime Minister goes on holiday and is stung by a jellyfish, nothing serious about that............ but here is what I found interesting:

and see if you can count 5 sympathetic comments or comments of support.

That jellyfish will need a Tetanus jab.

How long before David Cameron claims on he's expenses for trauma , after being subjected to a politically motivated attack. Putin would have wrestled it and then eaten it.

Hang on a mo! Let me get this right! Cameron was warned 'repeatedly)? He certainly appears to be following the exact same pattern as he does when here in Britain, he never listens to anyone here either!
How come there's never a 'Great White' about when you need one?

I think for Kibaki it was out of lack of "otherwise"

For Uhuru......

They loved his father so they love him too.

He achieved a rear feat of becoming president just like his father....but his was sweeter coz its campaign not handed over to him.

Then the guy has this likeable personality. .......he seems like a jamaa one can have a drink with hapo Eastern bypass.

This has to be one of the greatest misconceptions pushed about. Social anthropology 101: Human beings foster relationships owing to what brings them together. Each individual is brought up in a certain social and cultural setting. This determines the relationships fostered. A history of Africa will show you that most countries (physical boundaries)were largely created by the "whiteman" with little consideration of the social and cultural settings already in existence. As a result people tend to associate more with the people of the same cultural setting. It is therefore common to find groupings such as tribe/community like the ones we have in Africa supporting one of their own. You may be surprised that the same thing happens in the east of even the west. I can assure you that even in the UK they have some form of "tribalism" whereby one of their own is protected. In the US the classic example is the racism question. Check on how majority of blacks voted and continue to defend Obama.

Its not only africans. I suggest u pull out the election stats for David Cameron and that scotsman and see the voting patterns. The english voted their own and the scots their own
Also check out how ukrainians are currently divided. Russian ukrainians are solidly pro Russia while the ethnic ukrainians are rabidly anti putin.
