unfortunate statements! the books of the bible provide a lot of information and guidelines that have profited human beings for ages however it is not the only book! human beings have developed other things that have been useful to humanity for example Medicine, Vaccinations, Combustion Engines, Powered Flight, the Internet via this thing called science. Manipulating the physical world based on knowledge that we have to make it work for us. I think it's a mistake to view the expanded universe with spectacles that we designed for a world that was possibly 2000 km sq some 2000 years ago! We cannot go to the bible every time to find out whether using solar power is haram or not! or whether hydrocarbons are to be used or not or whether earthquakes hit bad people or not - WE NOW KNOW!! don't do yourself deservice by looking at the future with pessimistic eyes, you have one life to live make it count. Waiting for the next earthquake to hit so that you can say... see I told you! yesterday people were all Blood Mooned drawing parallels all over the place with jewish ceremonies that the jews seem not to care about in the first place not knowing that it occurs every 300 years or so! Reason!! engage your faculties the reality of the world we are living in is not changing!! Did God hit Indonesian and Pakistani muslims with earthquakes because they were bad people? no they are just in a dangerous part of the world! The Subcontinent ramming into the euroasian plate caused the pakistani earthquake (more will come as it is moving at a speed of 10cms a year) and I have already told you about how the ring of fire causes issues in the pacific - just 2 days ago a magnitude 7.2 earthquake hit the solomon islands why? use the scriptures as general guidelines to use when describing the behaviour and condition of man not the physical universe!

What do you mean by 'believe in'? Your argument runs like this; I read, understand and believe in ALL the holy Scriptures. My faith is true, therefore other faiths are false. This, to me, is a very skewed argument. I hope you can see why.

I am a believer of science - it got me to work this morning! someone discovered that hydrocarbons thrown in a metal container and burnt expands and causes movements and this can be harnessed to cause movement and viola we had car engines amongst other things. I happen to write this while abroad after a heavier than air contraption took off and flew some 40k feet above sea level and took me safely from point x and y. I happen to write this on a device that looks like a piece of glass on a foldable contraption with black pieces of plastic having 'QWERTY' on them and as soon as i am done typing my message I press some button down here and my thoughts are immediately propagated to people i don't know thousands of kilometers away. What is my point? All these things have been made by 'human hands' after investigations and a person who said "these are the facts what conclusion is supported by these facts". What I fear you want to do is to engage me in the "science" that says "this is the conclusion (the point you are driving) - what facts are out there that support my conclusion!"
