Whats with the patriotic crap. We can multi task. I am very proud of our first lady but we don't have to stop breathing coz she is running the London marathon. We also happen to have our personal lives. Let them be more patriotic maybe then the first lady will belong more to them than all of us...

Is there a country in the world that can win both the men's & women's marathon AND have its First Lady finish it? Proudly Kenyan!

The first lady deserves to be congratulated for her mettle. And the victors for their dilligence.

Proud of this lady, at 50 and completing 42KM yet for some of us 10KM nishida Kwa gym i normally see that for some people, even doing 3km on the treadmill, which takes about 30mins ni chida. I agree that running for 7hrs is such a big fete. Kudos FLOKE. But anyway, the biggest beneficially in this marathon thing is PORK in the form of a very well toned airport. Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.... There is a possibility that the cost of participation is higher than what the campaign will raise. If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

42km race run at 50yrs of age for someone who wasn't a marathon runner a short while ago and all for a noble cause. FLOKE and the athletes have become true brand Kenya ambassadors.

But its funny that Margaret Kenyatta is fundraising for what the govt of Kenya lead by her husband is supposed to be doing by our taxes If Obiero did it, Who Am I?
