Sorry @Kratos but Moyes is going nowhere. Remember the Glazers said that it is them who should be blamed for letting both Moyes and Woodward start their jobs a Month late. That's their excuse and stand. The only way they will sack Moyes is if we find ourselves languishing at no.7 in December. That's when they will make a move.

A month late??? Moyes was given the job hata before end of last season while Woodward got his earlier. Their transfer attempts were simply shambolic.....from Cesc, Thiago, Fellaini, Baines to Ander Herrera! Moyes' managerial pedigree is not as good as SAF or any of the top managers which means he has to do a lot of work to convince top players to sign for him instead of the other wealthy clubs. I think he would have better luck targeting players in the EPL, kama akina Lallana and Shaw. Nowadays club history means nothing in the transfer market. Btw I think SAF and Bobby Charlton are the two people who gave Moyes the job and i believe they are the ones who will decide when its time to sack him.

Moyes will get another year!!!

Long may he stay!!!smile

Haha, stop deluding yourself. Arsenal are usually neither here nor there. Even in our worst season, the Bonokos can't make our hearts skip a beat. Forza United!!!

I'm not a Man-U supporter but I really felt for them yesterday. At some point they were through to the next round before they let in 3.
I was really impressed and surprised at the same time by Bayern's composure after Man-U scored.

BBI will solve it

Welcome back to "local" football after despising it...

and for those who were yapping how Man U would win the UCL (and thus qualify at Arsenal's expense should we finish 4th)....Fundahs

What! He should withdraw that comment. It's a bad silly joke and in really bad taste to come from such high places.

Chelsea, City, L'pool and even Everton totally dominated Arsenal at home but Man Utd Shame on you Its more of a mental block than anything else, we will soon get the monkey off our back without excuses of sijui its our worst season. Btw, You've only won twice in the league at the Emirates since 2006, the rest have been draws and couple of wins for Arsenal.

True but factually incorrect.....Moyes was given the job before end of last season but had a contract with Everton so he could not take over at united immediately.

Wigan is just a bogey team for Man city. They (Wigan) don't appear to cause them (city) any mental block. On the other hand Aseno appear to have a mental block against Man U.

In my books, mental block emanates from fear while bad luck accounts for defeat against your bogey team.

@Taz. Being given a job and starting a job are two different things. Anyway it doesnt matter whatever bedevils Manutd. My point here is what the Glazers said and why Moyes won't be going anywhere soon. It's an open secret that there is no way SAF will sanction a Moyes sacking anytime soon. The board will support Moyes through the summer then wait and see if he will deliver. The only time they will consider giving him the boot is December and that will only be if we will not be in the top 4 by then.

So said the man after a sigh of relief now knowing that Manutd will not deny them a uefa spot by winning the tournament. Sema ku kaza nayo.

Yet there are others who believe that if Man U doesn't clinch the coveted EPL title, their club will automatically lift it!

Moyes officially took over at Man Utd on Jul 1 but he had already signed a contract with the club earlier on, hata hivyo he had 2 whole months to secure players. When the transfer window opened they had "genuine hopes" Laughing out loudly of landing Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale or Cesc Fabregas.....to me that was just a waste of time. Almost all his other targets rejected the club's advances. I won't even talk about Fellaini situation. Truth be told, Moyes and Woodward were clueless in the transfer market......

During the January transfer window, Moyes signed the mercurial Mata ( this is not a sign of a clueless manager, rather an ambitious one). The most clueless manager is the one whose only signing in the same transfer window was an injured midfielder who was meant to hold brief for other injured midfielders.Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly
