The launch of PUSETU was graced by three cabinet secretaries, this clearly looks like the new government project to tame COTU?

In my uninformed opinion, PUSETU cannot tame COTU because COTU is an umbrella of so many trade unions. Therefore in theory, PUSETU should be a member of COTU.

I do not think a trade union for public servants can represent the wakas of Kenya. Its only COTU which has representation of trade unions from both the private and public sector in kenya

If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

Did you see Sossion there? Trade Union movement in Kenya relies a lot on teachers, who have traditionally been the most faithful and most militant of Trade Union members, lose them and you become substantively weakened!!!!

Walimu and other publis servants are the largest employee groups. Once their contribution goes elsewhere, COTU will be a shell

hata ka ni for life, he should create himself a chairman life member position and let someone else inject some different ideas into the organization

Always wondered the same thing too. @McReggae suspicion does sound plausible.
