I'd like to appreciate that I will never understand Islam,in the same way a muslim will never understand a christian or whatever. In the same way there are radicals who misquote the Koran for their gain, we also have priests/pastors who misquote the bible e.g. the pastor who recently wanted his female congregation to come to for sermons without ngotha and also sit with their legs apart!

Now, my issue is not Islam but those radicals who brainwash children to go and blow up churches in the name of jihad or whatever (like I mentioned, I'll never understand it). But if the two cannot be delinked, then too bad, we'll take both as one.

Personally I find terrorists to be the biggest cowards on earth, much like wife batterers. Instead of attacking Lanet barracks they they plant a bomb in a nondescript cafe in Eastleigh patronised by poor folk who come to watch news as they eat supper,mostly on credit. If any Muslim/christian/homo/hetero etc finds that okay and can finance, support, bombs etc then they also need to be shot. Live by the sword and die by the sword.

So, will our friends who see this as a normal affair care to elaborate on what exactly it will take for these attacks to stop? KDF to leave Somalia or what? Then after that? Let's talk plainly...

First, don't rely on "wiki-that, wiki-this, wiki-blah-blah". I don't know about this 'Abu Umama' and his hadith found on a website. Turn to authentic hadiths.

Secondly, I have told you that the highest authority in Islam, the Quran, has nothing endorsing rewards for suicide.
Instead, it strongly condems with severe punishments for those who commit suicide.

Thirdly, the next authority in Islam is the Hadiths: the authentic are Bukhari and Muslim. PLEASE I I REPEAT THE AUTHENTIC HADITHS ARE "Bukhari and Muslim". We find nothing endorsing suicide in the hadiths categorized as authentic: Bukhari and Muslim.
Again we find them condemning it strongly.

However there are some unreliable hadiths referred to as Gharib Hadiths (weak or strange Hadiths). These talk about 72 wives but not virgins. The inauthentic hadith itself is below and it says the Prophet Muhammad (saw) was heard saying:
"The smallest reward for the people of Paradise is an abode where there are 80,000 servants and 72 wives, over which stands a dome decorated with pearls, aquamarine, and ruby, as wide as the distance from Al-Jabiyyah [a Damascus suburb] to Sanaa [Yemen]" as Narrated by Sunan al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2562.

This is as a weak Hadith, because there is a chance that it may have been fabricated or corrupted along the way. Therefore, it has been rejected in Islam as technically weak in its chain of transmitters and not considered accurate. As a result Muslims are not required to believe in it.

SO IMPORTANT
Even if the hadith was true, there is nothing about it that says that if someone commits suicide they would get 72 virgins in paradise.

You see, the way Islam has condemned suicide, making as grave sin, then it is unthinkable for its followers to regard sex as a reward if they were to take their lives.

Today, the myth of the 72 virgins an ammunition for those who wish to see their point of view prevail against Islam. The media have twisted this alleged saying to suit their fancies and smear Islam with ridicule and humiliation.
