I was starting to doubt Treu. Now lets hope Kenya does not once again capitulate as they have done each time they reach the second round. Sometimes it seems they just quit after reaching the quarters especially if they meet NZ or Fiji. No more Kenya at 50 please.

Licked by Fiji and whitewashed by Australia, will True now take a 20% pay cut?

Urggghh! Very frustrating Kenya's play against Wales. Why were they bent on running the ball on a wet pitch, worsened by playing most of the game on their own 22!

But the most shocking of all was Injera's defensive move in the dying seconds of the game with ball possession. Rather than attack, he runs back 50m only to lose possession. Was this at coach Treu's bidding d'oh!

Final score: Kenya 7 10 Wales

very scrappy...I saw it yesterday. When they should have hammered Sri Lanka upwards of 50 they were contented with that little score... That is a team to wallp upwards of 50...

.....pengine walienda maombolezi, the boys always look n become tired when nz makes the first try.....it's all in the mind ,I must say Treu is working on creativity better than Friday ....it will soon come together

this is my analysis (2 cents)
1. we lack ball carriers when it comes to contact play. Horace can do it but he has become too big. the rest of them don't seem to know how to break a defense. ukiona mtu akienda kwa contact halafu afunge breaks akiweka ball kwa tumbo na kichwa iko chini - amekosa ideas.
2. we lack a play maker. I guess this is what Biko should be doing but he is not- we need a person with vision and awareness. unaitisha ball and your players know that they have been summoned coz you have seen something - hata kama ball inarudi nyuma.
3. we really need to tackle. clubs in Nairobi that give the bulk of our players don't tackle vizuri. these fast bodies may shine on the rest of the teams hapa but when you meet low centre of gravity people like fijians, you are in trouble.

I didn't see the match but can someone tell me which of the above cost us?

...None of your scrappy analysis...In the last 22 seconds we had possession of the ball...and then Injera , I think got mad and ran with the ball towards Wales side...not sure what he wanted to do...only to lose possession... How have you been Bwana @Masukuma?

I have been well Mr Magigi, Wales will always be a tough match (we usually win by 2-3 points and also lose by the same margin). Whatever happened to our real half backs? Wanjala (i know got injured sometime back - bado hajapona?), Felix Ayange??? I have not seen him play ever since he was given a handoff by Branco Du Preez!! We need proper half backs!! Injera hana clue when his options to run ... run out (huwa anajaribu kaHandoff fulani). Anyway we live to fight another game.

Just watched the highlight. It was very very strange. The commentator claimed that Kenya snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Wazee M(2) & B

It is as @Magigi said, but Injera ran back deep into Kenyan side as he attempted to wind the clock down.

It was raining; evidently the boys were not on form for a wet, muddy game instead playing like they were in the hot dry Savannah.

As you revel in watching the faded stars, I spent the weekend in Machakos watching the future stars. Metro school term finals.
Third place playoffs was won St Marys saints while the tournament taken by Nairobi Sch patch beating Laiser Hill.
