Interesting!....Now Wenger says winning the EPL is not his priority!!... expect the players to react with another academy-like display next game.Arsenal seems more doomed than ManUtd!!! Age is transforming me into an Elder;becoz Admin hasn't made me one.

I don't see anything wrong with his statement, kama angesema we can win the league ungekuja hapa kusema he's delusional. I think what Arsenal need is to develop a winning mentality, belief that they can actually win the biggest trophies, FA cup would be the perfect start. We need to put it as our number one priority, hata 4th place finish is not important right now in my opinion. “I think at the moment that's (winning the league) not our biggest worry, We just have to try to be realistic and we have to come back into the next game. We have to look behind us and of course we also have to look in front of us, but as well behind......Manchester City and Chelsea are the favourites for the title. We don't have too much room to come back into it.”

Arsenal is presently built to fail. Failure to strengthen and giving away quality players. Truth forever on the scaffold Wrong forever on the throne (James Russell Rowell)

I think Wenger and the Arsenal board have done well to retain our best players......the likes Ramsey, Ozil, Wilshere, Mert, Ox, Gibbs, Carzola etc have all recently signed long term contracts. What they now need to do is strengthen the team, apart from the obvious need of a WC striker we also need a natural defensive midfielder. An Anchor man who can shield the back four and allow the creative flair players to flourish. Most people seem to forget that Arteta is really an attacking midfielder, i think that's where he's most effective though amejaribu at DM. Stats show he's made double the amount of interceptions than the likes of Gerarrd, Ramires, Yaya Toure and Fellaini, outscoring all the afore mentioned on defensive points but still we can't rely on him. I can almost assure you that if we get good midfield generals who can win the ball back for the team, intercept, read the game well and be technically good, we would win the league with ease because i think we have the best attacking midfield in the league. I don't believe there's a shortage of such players so Wenger hana excuse.

He has done his part in the EPL and we will never forget his achievements at Arsenal. With younger coaches who are more of result than process-oriented lined up against him, i pity the former 'professor'. ION, pace setting should be 'banned' in football. While it does well in athletics by letting speed records to be made/broken, it has been the opposite for Arsenal! For years on end, Arsenal rises hopes and optimism of its supporters to the highest peak, only to stumble 200m to the finish and dropping them without benefit of a parachute....HUJUMA!! I think Gus Poyet would be a perfect replacement for Wenger. The guy has a poor squad at Sunderland but he always gets tactics right especially against big teams. I think most coaches would actually do a better job if offered the resources at Arsenal. By the way, SAF groomed several managers however none of Wenger's former players or coaching staff have achieved that. Truth forever on the scaffold Wrong forever on the throne (James Russell Rowell)

By winning today United may have condemned themselves to more Moyes torture. NKT!! United fans should be wary of diminished expectations where beating Aston Villa is viewed as a great victory. This used to be routine!!!! “People will believe a big lie sooner than a little one, and if you repeat it frequently enough, people will sooner or later believe it.” ― Walter C. Langer
