Kenyans view everything with suspicion. I was trying to do my math. Surrendering 300 mercs will save the government some Shs. 2B every year as we were told. Does it really cost Shs. 6 m to maintain one merc per year? Why did the budget for vehicles jump from Shs. 4 B to Shs . 8B within one fiscal year?
