But that was Kibaki's initiative.. infact Jubilee has delayed the finalisation due to its wrangles with 'donors/partners/development friends/whateverers'.

How do you fulfill that surely, you have to know who is to be cleaned first, but am also concerned that one year down the line no one has been cleaned .

Boss sweeping changes are done immediately, even CEOs who make big changes in organizations do this, what we have seen from the two are empty threats and some transfers for the thieves to continue with their ways!!!!

Agreed.....It's all talk and no show.I regret ever voting for this two useless fellows!

you elected them and since they cannot have eyes everywhere, they appointed people to do so . The CS , i think the best way to judge them is through the CS and see what they have done so far.Like they promised in Mt Kenya those who do not perform, waende they now know how the govt works and its time for action. Don't they have people on the ground who watch over to see if what they said has been done?

Actually when you talk of CEO's i think of The CS health. I expected too much from him i thought by one year he could have achieved so much. I think they ought to go to UK, i saw the other day how they are cleaning up their social and health system. Those who live there can confirm.I saw they hired a former CEO of M&S if am not wrong , the guy goes to the hospital with a paper pad and pen to see how it works and notes all he is told. Action has now started like no living in those Gov houses with extra rooms if you are single unless you pay extra for the unoccupied rooms. I wish we could learn from such people.

The one and only State of the Nation address I care about is the report card after 5yrs.

Given the power heirachy with the new constitution, a lot is pegged on their selection of the right team to do the job. They best get the right candidates. Example, what has Adan Mohammed done so far as compared to the Transport or Foreign Affairs appointees?..
