A story is told of 1st year class where a professor took his students to Chiromo mortuary for a class, he opened up one of the bodies, deeped his finger in the bdoy's anus and then licked it, he asked all the students to do the same given that medicine required a lot of courage....they all did the same, after that he told them that a medic must be very observant, he had inserted the index finger but licked the middle finger....two of the students never returned to that class!!!!

Did I hear correctly?

The Queues for operations Sad Sad Sad some guys waiting for siyui 6months ?

Please chunga vichwa if you must hit a fella gonga parts that can be amputated without the need for a neurosurgeon

Kwani what kind of medicine is taught at UoN medical School

it takes a longer period to train this cadre of doctors. it is also only for those ready to train to the end with tough exams. Most students give up along the way. The operations they perform end up having a mental effect on them in the long run.
A tough course indeed

Can you back up on your allegations?

I worked at Aga Khan for 5years and know some of these consultants. One Prof. Sande's hair was always unkempt(kama ile ya lawyer khaminwa)...spoke to himself as he walked...could come driving in the morning, parks but forgets all that and calls his family for a car moments later.
To ease pressure on their minds, some of them are consumers of some stuff before and/or after an operation, which they nevertheless perform quite well.

Neurosurgery is quite interesting, but can be very sad given that most of your patients have high mortality or poor quality of life

Have heard that story too. Legend has it that it was actually Prof. Joseph Mungai. Only he could have done something like that.
