I'm no expert in this field as I have said. But I'm just sharing whatever little I've been learning from my blogging course. I don't mind learning more from the "experts". Thanks for your overwhelming contribution so far.

The biggest mistake most new bloggers make is to write about anything. I have seen some people write about themselves. Others write long boring poems.

Well, you know what! The internet world is a bit different. If you want to succeed you need to change your approach to writing. Forget about Ngugi wa Thiongos style for a minute.

Follow these three steps:

(1)Look for a topic area that OTHER people around you are really interested in e.g relationship advice, business ideas, make money online etc

(2)Write a simple article, using simple language Avoid complicated jargon.

(3)Be sure to use KEYWORDS naturally throughout the articleIf you don't know what these are, ask me.

(4)Promote on social media but don't overdo itOf course you know how do this...

There are many more tips that I'd like to share with you. Well,

I'm not a pro in this industry but I can answer a few of your questions if you have any. Good day.

Those are actually four steps, but, oh well, we are beginning, aren't we. That said, there's actually no problem writing about anything, coz with the world being dynamic, what you'd consider to be anything is actually something to someone else. Again, there's no problem writing about oneself for the same reason.

I'd say, when writing an article, have substance, and then style. Content is critical, irrespective of the 'anything' you are writing about. Style? Well, that sets your writing apart. See it as your 'game', your unique identity, your charm, what draws readers to you more and more. My two bangla pesa.

@KeruJames apana jali. Just doing that to make you understand more.

To help you out here's something I did in 2011. It's old fashioned now but I believe it can help you.

Keyword Research just the basics.

It's an oldie but it can help you out a bit.
