devolution and planning secretary in New York with a 66-member delegation since march 7th... what a waste!!!

lets assume each one of them is paid per-diem at a rate of 60k per day. Let us also assume that they will jet in tomorrow (according to the paper they are still there)

so that makes it 15days times 60k times 66 persons which is equal to KES 59,400,000

Now add air tickets, commuter allowances, etc, etc, etc

what a waste... pork and d-pork tell us another story but not wage bill!!!

When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

I'm hoping this was on a light note.

Otherwise, this is not the country to be in. As a businessman, i have nothing but hatred towards these gov't officials who have made us their slaves. I'm taxed to the last penny and yet i can't have peace on the road coz they have important matters to attend to.

But then again, this world is not our home. Sad state of affairs to be seeking solace in such.

Very sad indeed

and to make matters even worse, how come such scandals do not make it to headlines and debates

we engage in stupid debates like who is sleeping with who while worse things are happening

who sets our national agendas? is it that our media is just useless or its us kenyans who keep quiet in the midst of such scandals?
