People, just think about it, why would US want to listen in on every citizen's coversation? It doesn't make any sense. They probably have the ability to but highly doubt they are. Look at how US has been know to operate in areas where it has keen interest in. It will only target those influential positions/persons and try and manipulate them into its corner. You can rest assured, they have a keen ear on the leaders of this country illegally and anywhere else that stands to significantly affect their interests whichever way.

Every wondered why most computer related virus threats hardly have any targeting our establishments in kenya as a primary target?.. you only hear of foreign establishments being taken down because that's where it is worth it and we get hit as a secondary objective. So unless your really really worth it, there is no way they will be wasting time with your conversations.

Like they know Kamwana's accounts' transactions and phone conversations circa 2008... hence the case delaying and hanging precariously!

They invented he internet.. its only now that they are being asked to let go of it. before then Microsoft Windows and IE used to be the only OS n browser on most machines.. hence collecting information was easy..

Nowdays your browser do that. your phones do it.. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING and always will..

but they have not told anyone. Its only a certain rouge employee who is telling us these things. Now they want to catch him as if he is the thief. Makes perfect sense to me.

I'm having a hard time believing a whole intelligence agency can be easily outsmarted but then again maybe that's why Russia is frustrating them.

Very true! The cost of harvesting sensitive data has become very cheap, readily and easily accessible over many platforms. They are literally spoilt for choice! They don't need to go through your physical garbage anymore, make expensive investment in equipment to intercept your conversations. All they need is just as you've mentioned. If people are smart they will know how to conduct themselves. Masking your digital footprint on all platforms is an art.

Believe it. It really happened.

McReggae, I think it is 'ngoja ngoja huumiza matumbo' scenario.

Bearing in mind that there is no right or left, except as necessary to preoccupy the masses. This part was George Bush Sr. speech in 1991. Is it different from what Barrack Obama is doing in 2014?

In fact this speech could as well have been made yesterday to address the Ukraine and Venezuela issues.

In 1991 they were half way around the world involved in a great struggle in the skies, on the seas, and sands under a Republican president.

In 2014, they are still half way around the world involved in a great struggle in the skies, on the seas and sands under a Democratic president.

They have a schedule to keep. History to write.
