@moorings, the type of units i.e whether 3 bedroomed etc will depend on finer details such as profitability ,cost of land, cost of borrowing etc, target market etc.
The number of units per acre will also depend on profitability, target clientele, etc. These are very fine details that would require that you ask a valuer, architect or qs to carry out a detailed feasibility study to determine. The units can range from 7 units per acre to nearly 20 units depending on profits, target clientele and cost of financing,quality of materials eg middle or high class, shape /design of building etc.
Having several different designs each targeting different clientele then advertising them will give an even more clerer image of what is the maximum potential for the area since if clientele prefer type a more than type b, then you contruct more of type a.
