I don't think Chelsea are that strong, they'll be in the next round but that might be as far as they go in the CL. IMO i think its only Athletico Madrid who can knock out Real, Barca and Bayern over two legs. I actually think they are the team to watch in the next round, they are the dark horses this season. Just remembered vile walichapa Chelsea (CL winners) in the UEFA super cup....... Chelsea don't have to be strong to win.Mourinho' teams usually stifle/choke stronger opponents then they smash, grab and run. Just remembered vile walichapa Chelsea (CL winners) in the UEFA super cup....... Chelsea don't have to be strong to win. Mourinho' teams usually stifle/choke stronger opponents then they smash, grab and run. One of the reasons why i think they can't compete with the likes of Real and Bayern is because they do not have a Didier Drogba at this time....he was the difference on so many occasions during his career at the club. He had the kind of technique that could single-handedly win games. They can choke stronger opponents as you put it but then again they would still have to score, especially at home. They've been strong defensively in the EPL but You can't really depend on clean sheets against offensive powerhouses like Bayern, Real Madrid, BVB and Barca they will score sooner or later. Btw the two January signings Matic and Salah are both cup-tied, its a pity really because Matic has been really solid in midfield and he usually allows Ramirez to move forward comfortably.....i'm not so sure about Mikel. Anyway who knows they might draw Man utd/Olympiacos in the quarters, CL is also about getting a favourable draw. I've not said its not possible for Chelsea to win CL this season just don't think they are close to being favourites.......imo its Bayern, Real, Barca, PSG, Atletico, Dortmund, Chelsea, Man Utd/Olympiacos in that order.

Chelsea and Real (obvious) to go through. Real could easily break a record tonight! In the business world, everyone is paid in two coins - cash and experience. Take the experience first; the cash will come later - H Geneen

You were right!!...They grabbed a goal already and they have packed the bus.Relying on counters.....Useless football!! -Xtiano scores against Schalke. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Chelsea don't really need to pack the bus against Gala.....I don't think they are much of a threat going forward, they don't even qualify as "stronger opponents".
