I lost my national i.d card & i have cleared with the police and the local registration of persons department. Problem is i need the i.d urgently but was told it will take 2months to get it. Is there a way of getting the i.d immediately because i require it urgently? I don't have a passport that i can use instead while i wait for the i.d. I don't mind paying extra if necessary

That line of thinking is bad........Don't corrupt anyone,you here me?? Don't corrupt anyone!!

ID should take 21days to get and not 2 months......after all it will just be a copy of your original!!

If you have money that you expect to start using in five years,it now belongs in stocks.
When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

@mutuemillio,thanks,please check your inbox.

@kingfisher,i don't intend to corrupt anyone,all i'm saying is that i'm willing to pay extra to have the issue fast tracked,legally ofcourse. I'm sure such cases occur everyday.

@JDS,i'm not intending to play with fire.

Anyone else with other suggestions or solutions will be highly appreciated

You say you are not trying to corrupt anyone,but what exactly does that mean? Had someone asked about what ails our country in an earlier thread? Here you go...

hey kingfisher..

actually its supposed to be 21 days for both ID & passport,but these guys dont honor that & u may end up waiting for 210 days instead....

after 3 months you end up looking for 'shortcuts' & in the process corruption comes in...

@njamba,

Have you not been issued with a 'waiting card'?I believe this should be as good as an I.D as you wait........

Did you get the ID,this should take like 2 days by pressing the right buttons!!!
