I want to start importing men's shoes and sell them at whole sell prices to shop owners. I would like the advice of male sk members in regards to which type moves i.e sports or leather as for women i think I have an idea but I would like to get their advice too. I intend to sell to exhibiters and shop owners but have not yet done due deligence.

men buy leather shoes in kenya more than the other types.However,shoes sold in kenya have a problem with quality.Leather shoes are a little bit of low quality and their soles do break after several months of wearing.Sports shoes suffer from the same problem.They(sports) de-generate in a short period.Kenyan men can buy sports shoes if their quality wouldn't deteriorate so fast.And I think therein lies the trick: get shoes of reasonable quality(which sells at reasonable price) and you will get your customers.

Quality,quality quality ........ especially for ladies,getting a fashionable good quality shoe from those exhibitions is almost impossible. Get good quality and you will be assured of customers both gents and ladies

Thanks to you all. I intend to get italian leather,quality and stylish. problem is its on the higher side of the shilling. I wouldnt want to tie up my cash if they are not bought.
