In 1972 a plane crashed on a snowy mountain and got covered up, wasn't discovered till 2011. In 2009 a boeing crashed into the Atlantic and was only found 5 days later. This must be Air France 447 from Rio to Paris. Yes they found the floating pieces 5 days later but it took another 2 yrs to recover the rest of the plane, bodies & black boxes, close to 2 miles under the ocean. Hate to imagine at this age a 777 can just disappear without a trace. The pilot might have committed suicide by diving that plane. it might be on the sea surface intact. work to prosper

Captain Zaharie was widely respected and loved the 777 He knew every nook and cranny and every possible thing that could go wrong with that aircraft. Which tells you if there was any way to save that airplane, this would be the guy to save it, depending on what went wrong and whether he was disabled. The latest - Investigators are actively pursuing the notion that the plane was diverted "with the intention of using it later for another purpose." The search area has been widened. But there's another confusing twist. An emergency beacon that would have sent data upon impact apparently did not go off, the official said. The beacons, known as Emergency Locator Transmitters, activate automatically upon immersion in fresh or salt water, but must remain on the surface for a distress signal to transmit.
The failure of the beacon to activate could mean that the plane didn't crash, that the transmitter malfunctioned, or that it's underwater somewhere. Someone knows the truth and doesn't want to admit it. 1. Was the plane used for non-civilian purposes, hence was shot down? This reminds me of the Korea Air plane that was shot down by U.S.S.R and only shoes were recovered. 2. Why and how are all transmitters and transponders off, avoiding detection? Reports citing various US and other officials involved in the investigation into the plane's mysterious disappearance have increasingly pointed to the possibility that someone with expert flying knowledge diverted the aircraft for unknown reasons.If you stay ready, no need to get ready.
