C&P Aviation investigators and national security officials believe the plane flew for a total of five hours based on data automatically downloaded and sent to the ground from the Boeing 777's engines as part of a routine maintenance and monitoring program. As part of its maintenance agreements, Malaysia Airlines transmits its engine data live to Rolls-Royce for analysis. The system compiles data from inside the 777's two Trent 800 engines and transmits snapshots of performance, as well as the altitude and speed of the jet. A total flight time of five hours after departing Kuala Lumpur means the Boeing 777 could have continued for an additional distance of about 2,200 nautical miles, reaching points as far as the Indian Ocean, the border of Pakistan or even the Arabian Sea, based on the jet's cruising speed. http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304914904579434653903086282?mg=reno64-wsj&url=http%3A%2F%2Fonline.wsj.com%2Farticle%2FSB10001424052702304914904579434653903086282.html

Keep watchn I have never believed in this stuff. How comes only Americans? Britons and Germans too. As for the rest of the world we can say no one follows up but people disappear in Africa never to be seen again. We assume they were killed, but who knows? And the sightings? People who dissappear in Kenya and resurface usually say wali kuwa huko waki tafuta kazi. None say they were kidnapped.

We have no way of tracking "lost people" Infact the Kenya Police confirmed on TV that they have no department set out for lost people. Sightings...do we care? We are always concerned about eating even if they showed up no one would bother. Remember Prof Phillip Mbithi? Dint we all dismiss the guy? "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. What if one of the pilots wanted to attempt landing on the moon with the jetliner? If I were a pilot I would try that to or just try to see how far I can fly away from the earth surface If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

If I were a pilot I would try that to or just try to see how far I can fly away from the earth surface Not possible because of something called the "coffin corner". Air gets thinner as you go higher, so it will get to a point where the plane will stall because it cant go faster.

Meanwhile Malasian Flight 370 seems to have brought the passengers to the Eastern Coast of Africa, around LAMU in Kenya. The search now is turning to Indian Ocean. "White House says possible search based on new information" "Peace is our profession, War is our business" ...Unknown
