So now this Malaysian Flight 370 was last detected flying over a small island hundreds of miles from the flight's usual route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. If this new data is correct, the aircraft was flying in the OPPOSITE direction from its scheduled destination and was on the opposite side of the Malay Peninsula from its scheduled route.

I can only trust the FR24 data that is available. FR24 receives ADS-B position data from aircraft twice every second and so far the data hasn't shown any diversion. To confirm Flightradar24.com data, you can log onto their website and monitor flights landing or taking off at JKIA.

@jag, amazing site, didn't know one could access that info

How cool!

Is it real time?

@jaggernaut.....Malaysian air traffic controllers lost contact with the plane around 1:30am and it disappeared from Flightradar24’s tracking system at 1.21am. The Malaysian Air Force lost track of the aircraft's signal at about 2:40am over Pulau Perak - hundreds of kilometres away from where it should have been and was believed to be flying low. So i do not think there's any contradiction here, I believe the air data and technology used by the Military definitely goes beyond the ones operated by civilians.

"The fact that the last contact from the Malaysia Airlines flight’s transponder came at roughly the same time that the cockpit crew stopped communicating with ground controllers by radio suggests that is what happened, I guess to me it sounds like they were turned off deliberately." Mikael Robertsson, the co-founder of Flightradar24

The last communication received from a Malaysia Airlines plane suggests everything was normal on board minutes before it went missing over the South China Sea, Malaysian authorities say.

Flight MH370 replied "All right, roger that" to a radio message from Malaysian air control, authorities said.

This is what my 3D movie goggles show me.

That plane has not disappeared, information about its whereabouts is what has been hidden from the public.

The ndege was most probably jacked after info leaked about some serious top secret cargo being shipped from A to B.

This cargo, its source and destination is so serious that governments have been held ransom and have to cover up everything about that flight desperately as they wrestle with whatever demands the hijackers have made.

a 777 cannot just disappear... but information about anything or anyone can.

@Taz, The red part above has since been refuted. The Airfoce general says he was misquoted, that he only suggested that it could have turned west but info not conclusive. Mysteries galore

Britons and Germans too. As for the rest of the world we can say no one follows up but people disappear in Africa never to be seen again. We assume they were killed, but who knows?

Isn't it bewildering that with all the satellites and communication equipment available in this day and age its now more than 5 days since this plane vanished? Its not suprising that a witchdoc has been called in to help. My theory still holds strong. ET

Strange, this must be the biggest search in history and still no success.

Quote:
The U.S. Navy dispatched a second ship (destroyer) Monday to assist an emergency operation in the Gulf of Thailand and South China Sea that has grown to involve at least 40 other vessels and 34 aircraft from 10 countries.

American drones can pick out and expend a turban wearing terrorist planting an IED on the dusty roadsides of Afghanistan but cant find a 777.
