Dear Wazuans,

A little history About Cleft Lip & Palate,
A cleft is a gap or split in either the upper lip or the roof of the mouth (palate), or sometimes both. It occurs when separate areas of the face do not join together properly when a baby is developing during pregnancy.

What causes cleft lip and palate?
Evidence suggests they are caused by a combination of genetics and environmental factors and a lack of folic acid in the mother's diet.
Cleft lip and palate can occur on its own (non-syndromic) or can sometimes be part of a wider series of birth defects (syndromic).

How you can help.
If you know any kid with this defect.
Just reply here with the
KIDS NAME:
PARENTS/Guardian's NAME;
PARENTS/Guardian's CONTACT : (preferably 2 contacts incase one is not reachable)

The Objective.
It is free to receive this kind of surgery through an NGO and the first Surgery will be on 29 March
So please exercise haste.

Lets help this kids and show them there is nothing wrong with them and give them a level playing field to lead successful lives.
Simplicity is the utmost sophistication.

I think it would be much better if you put an email for such details to be send.
Or am i missing anything?

All in all, a good inspiring gesture.
