They have to amend the law first because currently as we chat today there's a law that prohibits export of crude etc etc. And even if the law is amended at how much will it be priced given that it has to be transported across the atlantic to get to EU?

The US still doesn't have enough energy, many commercials and documentaries will tell you that they do but do you think the debate on the Keystone pipeline would be there if they believed that they had enough to run their economy?
