I am currently looking into venturing into business after getting tired of working very hard and getting few coins and always begging for my pay ( this happens esp when you are employed by certain people).

So i came across these online data entry jobs where ati you can make 2500$ per wk from home depending on your hardwork and solong as you have a comp. It seems too good to be true yes but ukisoma hapo kwa testimonials in their website you see guys saying they have made it. Even kenyans are saying they make 74$ per day.

Mnaonaaje wana sk?

Anyone who has tried?

There are valid ways to make money online though they are overshadowed by the fake ones. Obviously you may not be making such mad cash from the onset. Like any business,you have to build your income over time. This area has been discussed on SK a number of times. Search the SK archives for online,internet,data entry na kadhalika.

One thing I have come to discover is that Skerians do not treat people who display stupidity very kindly,especially neophytes. You will discover this soon enough,now that you are new here. You can either discover this the hard way or learn something all together.

For some reason,SK is a happy site this week - not that it is usually not 'happy'.... it is hilarious (if you are not on the defensive side) and at times at the expense of someone!! @Mathenge has a point.... some here learnt from the pool's deepest end....

I encountered a lot of spam on this. I realised all what the spammers want is to sell you useless programs,ostensibly to use in the data entry.

I have realised the only serous jobs available online are only for serious entrepreneurs,ready to come up with a product and sell it to willing buyers. For instance,if you are an accountant,you can offer to write up a firms annual accounts,if an archtect you can make drawings and sell online. If you are cabable of going this path,skerians have alot of tips. Talk to @djjin and others and you will not be disappointed.

Online data entry jobs as offered in spams is simply a scam

Welcome and thank you for asking that question. I am sorry because i suspect you have gone through hard times and most likely been fleeced of your approximately Kshs 2000/= with this online data entry sh*t. Simply put,this is a scam and should be thoroughly investigated by the relevant authorities. I doubt if we have any!!! And since the tradition here on SK is to accept liability for anything and everything that you say- dont give a friend's experience as an example for instance,just admit that you are the victim. I would like to admit that i have been a victim of this online data entry thingy. May be i was so naive ....but the amount of time you will spend going through their manuals so that you start earning the $'s isn't worth the effort. This sh*t has been advertised by one mobile operator www.safcon.com. I am most definate that enough people in this great land of ours have fallen prey to this con game of one Fred Kaniaru.

@Litro,ebu elaborate ati nowadays safcon is conning people through data entry? This is a serious accusation which needs to be investigated if true. How do they go about it?

May be it didnt come out as i intended but actually this data entry things have been advertised in the jobs section of safcon's website. I totally absolve safcon from the scam since they have just provided a platform for advertisers.

But on the other hand isnt it an advertisers responsibility to do due diligence and vet everyone posting an advert on their site? May be not,may be i dont know!!

it is always wise to consult widely esp when you are not sure of something...

i applaud you and the likes for taking time to consult even though some members take time or fails to respond positively....

online data entry jobs are real but not in sub saharan countries....

@litro,thanks for the clarification. Actually when it comes to advertising its a case of caveat emptor- buyer beware. Sorry for having lost money but maybe next time you'll think twice before sending money to anybody...
