Housing Finance to announce its FY13 results tomorrow, 19 February 2014

.........smile and what gonna be the hails made of? Will it pop a Ksh 1 per share DVD this time? Other boys in the marathon this Feb are Britam, COOP, SameerAfrica, CIC, Equity and the NICs group. Britam may hop up to 50 cts a share DVD, Coop may trend up to 60 Cts while Sameer may be offering more than a DVD. Equity at 1.20 Kshs, CIC at 30cts. It is on the wall Equity will be on a trajectory to 40Kshs fter results

I doubt CIC will give 30 cents; that will be 200% increase in dividends. Will this happen when they are looking into investing in SS, Uganda and Malawi?

@angelica Ann & vituvingi....totally agree with you. Stunning HF results quiet market reaction...we may have reached the peak/long pause with counters that rallied hard last year.

@Obiero where is the exchange bar forecast for the insurance sector? Britam,CIC,Liberty,Pan Africa and Jubilee....thanks in advance(hoping you shall get them).

@mibbz sorry. i dont have reliable insiders in that financial sub sector..

All the same thanks for the good work on the banks; just wondering what do you think of co-op in 2014 considering they were doing a joint venture with Government of South Sudan and considering the current condition; shall the management retain more earnings to back up existing capital in this venture thus less dividends or?

Coop shall weather the South Sudan storm and will actually post highest increase for banks as per results the forecast. Major advantage is that its operations were relatively young

Why wait for the results announcement while the exchange bar has already released the information??? :)

@Mwekezaji,

Many thanks, I missed this post. Obviously, with good FY results, the market ignored HF. I am very happy that HF is trading at 32. I am buying big-time. Just following WB's philosophy "Games are won by players who focus on the playing field—not by those whose eyes are glued to the scoreboard.'
I am also buying Equity and await the Thursday FY announcement with a lot of enthusiasm.

@ Obiero must be good at making a wise guess.
KCB@ 20.1 B against 18.9 B is a wise guess but certainly not informed insider information.
